Just got this today. Is it okay? How should I have it altered by a taylor? It personally looks a bit too big on me. But I'm new to this, so what do I know?

I forgot to include that it's a 42 R. I tried on a 40 R and I feel like it fit better, but the sleeves were a bit short.

I really need some guidance here. Thanks.

sleeves can usually be lengthed.

The primary objective for OTR is shoulder fit. Then chest and jacket length. Waist suppression and sleeves can easily be altered later.

Get the 40r, and have your tailor lengthen the sleeves (so long as they aren't like 2+ inches short, which they shouldn't be).
