Please help ID the maker of this sweater. Hermes?

I picked up this gorgeous sweater today from a thrift store. No tags, but the fabric feels amazing. Some dingbat lopped off the tag, with only a tiny piece remaining. However, it has a capital H with two dotted lined stitched into the collar. It's only seen from one side, it doesn't go all the way through. The tag was a cream/tan color and there is a capitol H, so I was thinking it may be Hermes. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Can't say for sure, but it certainly is the right color for Hermes.

Are any of the care tags written in French? If no I doubt that is Hermes

No French on the tags, the only tag is the "Made in Italy"/care tag pictured.

Hermes knitwear does not bear this composition tag or stitching inside the collar. 99.9% sure it isnt. Nice though.
