Guys,

I need black shoes. My only pair that fit me well have disappeared .. don't ask how

My budget is between $250 - $400USD.

I need something that I can wear with black dress pants and suits (not solid black suits).

I've been looking at eBay and I found JLs I like, but little too much for me.

Also found these:

http://www.francos.com/items/item.asp?sku5=38436
http://www.francos.com/items/item.asp?sku5=29188

Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

I have 89 last PRPL shoes made by EG. They are half size big on me, so it slips bit when walking. I am gonna sell those on eBay soon. Anyways, it says 9.5 / 10D in the shoe. I think I need 9 / 9.5D PRPL 89 last shoes. On the website, do I need to choose 9D or 9.5D?

Thanks.

I highly recommend going with the C&J Audley from either PediWear or Plal.

If you want to save a bit of money from the Audleys go with the Hallams. They look at least as nice as the Handgrade captoes.

The shoe you have linked is not on the 89. It is on the 888.

Good call on the Hallam, whoopee! It'll be about $100 less.

What size are you looking for. Many of us have unworn stock and sometimes new temptations and threat of being killed by significant others force us to clear out the inventory.

Sorry,

My size is 9.5D. If a shoe's outsole length is ~12 inches long with ~4.25 inches wide then it should fit me O.K.

I'll cast my vote for a pair of whole cuts like the AS Pall Mall

The Mansion has a pair RLPL captoe in black on 82 last on sale for $433, absolutely gorgeous. It's very similar to EG Berkeley. May be a NY SF member can pick one up for you.

i know this should be in the selling thread, but to answer this , i have a brand new pair of santoni brendens in black. size 9D . willing to sell to you if you are interested. i have a pair of my own. they are way more than decent, and i will sell to you less than your budget.

The RLPL captoe is called Pierson. If you are looking for a pair black dress shoes, this is it.
