I cant seem to find an athletic cut/fitted t-shirt that has a body and sleeves that are short enough.

I've tried American Apparel (large - fitted) and Analog (large - fitted) and they both come with a body length that comes to my crotch (I'm 5'7") and has sleeves that nearly reach my elbow.

I'd like colors and/or graphics.

Thanks for any help.

of all the shops... I found AA has the longest cut bodies and sleeves anywhere.
I've found H&M, Club Monaco, Gap, etc all of their S or XS's run just fine in the length

how tall/short are you?

If you wear a large then you're probably going to have to get it altered. Either that or go on the concentration camp diet and get your chest down to the size of a 12 year old boy. Then you can either pay a fortune for trendy men's clothes that are sized large 30-32, or just shop in the children's section.

Thanks for the responses, guys. Doesn't seem like it should be that hard to find, but I keep missing on on-line purchases... I'll try the suggestions you listed.

Try Target's Mossimo tagless t-shirts. I have about half a dozen of them in various colors. They wash well and get really soft after some wear. Best of all, they're cheap at about $8/each on their website (seems they have a lot more colors in stores).

Alternative Apparel shirts are also pretty good...I'm 5'6" and a M hits at the waist of my jeans.

I bought some t's from calida and sunspel from sierra trading post and they were pretty slim. I really liked the ones from calida but the sunspel really short (I am 5'11")....but if that's what you want then they are awesome

Highly suggest Banana Republic Fitted Ts. I'm 5'3" and the XS works for me quite well. Maybe go S/M.

OK - so I've looked at most of the suggestions - Target, Banana Republic, Uniqlo, etc. and really appreciate the ideas, but even if the shirt is short, the sleeves are too long. I'm looking for sleeves that don't come down nearly to my elbows - partway down the bicep would be good.

If you're 5'7" why are you looking at larges, is your chest huge? I'm 5'9" and most of my tees are a little on the short side (Usually wearing Zara super slim fit small) and would definitely fit someone 5'7". But if you're looking at large that's like a 40+ chest right? Most of my tees are 17-18" p2p at most.
