Hi,

I was hoping to get some feedback on whether I should get some minor alterations on my suit. I am generally pretty satisfied with it, so not sure whether I should tinker with it or not. (the tailor will do it for free, since I already paid previously, this just the final tweak).

  1. I think the pant legs are just ever so slightly short (at least from the front) as I’d like for the pant to cover my the top part of my shoe (without looking baggy).
  2. My right arm feels a bit too tight, are those wrinkles normal? I included some photos where it’s straight and bent for a comparison.
  3. The pockets flare out a bit, so I guess I need more room in the seat right? I like slimmer fit than loose, but i don’t want the pockets to flare out.
  4. Any other suggestions? I’m all ears.

Thanks.

P.s. Apologies if this belongs in another thread, I’m on my phone and couldn’t find one if there is. mods- please feel free to move and again sorry for making you go through the trouble.

Yikes. This does not need minor alterations. This is a page one redo. I hope you didn't pay too much for this.

The jacket is far too short, too tight, and the button is too high. Trousers are too slim, especially at the opening, and the seat has all kinds of issues. Suit trousers should not take their slimness cues from compression shorts. The rise is also too low, but I understand that's more subjective.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
