Please critique OTR suit in preparation for first Chan appointment

I have an appointment with Chan for my first MTM suit in a few weeks (it will be a slim-fitting tux, details of which are in another thread). I'm going to be wearing my "best-fitting" suit to see him, which is a not-so-great fitting h&m suit.

I plan on trusting Patrick's overall judgment with things, but can you guys offer a general critique of my h&m suit, so I will know what to make sure he addresses? The h&m suit is a size 38, and I think I actually should have gone with a size 36 (I only recently realized how small my chest and shoulders are). Should the jacket and pants be slimmer overall? (I envision a pretty slim suit to accommodate my extremely skinny frame). Beyond shorter sleeves and shorter pants, I don't know how to articulate the biggest issues with this suit...

Just because you're skinny doesn't mean you need a skinny suit. If you like the look that is fine but plenty small guys used to have suits made that filled them out rather than showed off their smallness.

Either way the suit is a full size too big. You're also probably a short rather than a regular.

+1. I think you're probably better off just having Chan start from scratch based on their measurements and your list of fit / feature preferences. From your other thread, sounds like there is an opportunity for a basted fitting, so you should be fine.
