Hi I am pretty new at this. I am trying to quickly figure out if I need minor alterations or rather major alternations where i should just return the suit instead. This is a Ralph Lauren Black Label suit - solid Anthony. The suit size is 36R, I am 5'6 139 if that matters. I was able to snag this suit on sale with 60% off from Saks. I think overall the fit is pretty good except for a few things. For the front there are bumps on the lapel shown in the photo with the red arrows and on the back there are a lot of wrinkles. What are causing those back wrinkles, is it the size? The lower back isn’t draping correctly. Also are there other issues that I need to fix. I don't have a keen eye for this. Also ignore the pants, its my workout sweat pants. Thanks.

Im no expert but to me it looks like it needs to be taken in in the sides on the back. There looks like excess fabric between you're shoulder blades, which can be cleaned up at the collar. As for as the bumps on the lapels, im not entirely sure how to alter that. Overall i dont think the work is too major, its just a matter of shopping around for a decent tailor that you trust.

    Saks doesn't offer tailoring??

They do but I heard bad things about their in house tailors so I'm a little weary unless someone can reconfirmed that they are good enough

The shoulders look good. The pulling on the lapel means you should take it out a little bit.

Nah don't let it out (maybe confer with your tailor). Possibly clean up back but it still looks prettY good ...
