Thanks for generally positive feedback. Nervous purchase due to inexperience, but got great deals. Heading to Nikiforos now. Hope he's good.

Is it better to do all tailoring at once or bit by bit? If done bit by bit, how much does the order matter? If I get sleeves hemmed first will they have to be redone if I later do waist suppression, slim the sleeves, and shorten the coat etc?

Please note that I edited the 1st post to include the images. Thanks.

With a competent tailor, have it all done at once.

That was definitely my goal, but I picked these up for $750 each at the Off Saks sale. Selection for 'better' brands was limited. There was a beautiful gray Isaia with multicolored pinstripes (maybe blue and a subtle orange), but I decided the pinstripes would be less versatile than a 2nd blue. Perhaps I'm wrong though. The pattern on the Isaia is much more subtle than it appears in flash photography. Don't recall 100% if they had this exact size though, possibly only a 50.

Is this essential or best practice to save time and money? I had limited time at the tailor today (lunch break) and was fitted for sleeve & pant hems only. Should I tell the tailor to wait til I can come back before starting?

Thanks.
