Hello Friends:

I have had the great opportunity to work with Universal Records recording artist Matt Dusk on his Brand and style. Let me know what you think.

Here are some pics. The rest can be viewed at: www.myspace.com/alexandersteel

Also see www.myspace.com/mattdusk and www.mattdusk.com

It is truly a pleasure to see this man embrace such style. Your comments?

Thanks.

That is funny with the hand "missing". Almost creepy. I guess it was tucked under.

Looks like he's trying way to hard. And those knots are huge...

Not for me. Trying way too hard. I can wear loud patterns and colors myself, but this is just too much and costumey. Peaked lapels + vest + weird buttons + loud tie + loud pocket square sticking up five inches... it's just too much. Pick one or two of those if you want to make a statement with a loud outfit. Do all of them and you just look stupid. The gray tie outfit pulls off the improbable feat of being loud and somewhat ridiculous while at the same time not having enough color. Not quite sure how he pulled that off, but somehow he managed it. The outift with the red tie is the most put together in my opinion, but these ridiculous buttons are really ruining the outfits.

Keep in mind that these were created for him to perform in. He is a singer and performs all over the world. In terms of function for business...of course it is not all that right.

Agreed, I've never heard of him and didn't catch that fact. For a performer these are wonderful.

It's all a matter of context and for a flamboyant performer, that look may be perfectly acceptable. That said, the 3-button shirt won't look good on anyone imo.

RE: 3 button shirt, he wears this under a sweater on the casual.

I think you've done a fine job. I like those metal buttons on the striped grey three-piece.

Too affectatious; even for a performer. I'd be distracted by his clothing and not pay atttention to his singing.

Thanks Kent.

It is fun sourcing buttons or having them custom dyed.
