Where da hell can I go and buy some plastic shoe trees for travel? No Ikea near me unfortunately. My cedar ones are just a bit too heavy to bring with me on international travel.

You can get them online. Depending on your shoe size, these things don't really have enough preassure to actually stretch your shoes back out, and they obviously don't absorb water/odour. Maybe try to get some of the baby cedar ones likes these instead?
