the horror!

bought this RLPL navy sports shirt:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

got the shirt today, noticed that they had plastic buttons (

) instead of MOP...fits fine, but is this normal? it had a Made in Italy tag.

Very strange, I own a lot of purple label shirts and don't have that on any of them, even the new ones.

Where does it say it is made ?

Also might want to check out the many brand new Lacoste polos selling for $25 to go with the RLPL.

didn't realize PL fakes were pervasive...the shirt doesn't seem very well constructed, either.

At least with Lacoste you can get the india ones which are at least real if made for a diff market, the polo stuff is just straight up garbage.

Ebay is not that bad, I have found great deals on ebay AND traditional stores.

My suggestion having sold and bought is to develop a relationship with sellers you trust and that you make that relationship over several small purchases and questions.

I have been burned several times, but I have also gotten great items in my size from sellers I have built relationships with over years.

The same senses that determine an irritating or rude salesman in a regular store will do you well when working with an ebay seller. If they are rude in emails you don't work with them again. There are plenty of honest and sincere ebay stores that actually do an outstanding job distributing items that for some can not be found locally at reasonable prices.
