Plaque Belts Appropriate for Professionals?

I am going to be working in a professional setting this summer.

I have the same exact h&m slim fit suit and love the belt this model was wearing.

If I get a small, conservative plaque belt like this guy, would that be unprofessional to wear?

Anybody have any suggestions on what plaque belt to buy/where?

I don't like them, but they seem common enough to be not unprofessional.

I never liked the look, feels very 90's to me. I say go with a normal hollow square or U shaped buckle.

Me, too. This thread is not as interesting as I thought it would be!

Don't do it.

I used to wear these, but they are not dress belts. I know better now and got some real belts. Also, those 90s belts are too wide to be a dress belts. Go for 1.25" with actual stitching. Not glued.
