I've also had great experience with Plal. Two orders with no problems, including the first one having some back and forth trying to get the size right. Highly recommend them!

I ordered a pair of C&J Belgraves in suede (beautiful shoe) and it arrived quickly (7-10 days) and no U.S. customs bill. P.Lal is great.

Ordered a pair of Weymouths a couple of months ago and received no custom bill. Pretty sweet considering Canada likes to tax the **** out of everthing.

Speaking of.........mailman arrived today. Only took one week.

Only gripe is the buckles on the Savile's are a bit tarnished. Laces on the Weymouths suck, but easily swapped out.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the replies. I am thinking about getting the Cliffords. I wear a size 10 1/2 to 11, depending on maker, and was thinking of ordering a 10 in the Clifford, does this sound approximately OK in terms of sizing?

Just wondering what shipping runs? Been wanting to try some C&J's for awhile.

Did you get the Savile's from Plal? On their website stock catalog, it says it only comes in dark brown antique and black. The tan color is pretty sweet.

That must explain why Shyam is horrified about the buckle discoloration. You are obviously the expert.

SFO kindly confirmed he got the Savile's from Plal, which supposedly comes in a "dark brown antique" - but for some reason his pics show a much nicer and lighter tan colored shoe. Is this the color one should expect?? I would think that it comes in the dark brown that is frequently seen with the weymouth - or is it the flash?

IMO, the actual brown is lighter than the brown pictured in the C&J catalog. The picture I posted will appear lighter than actual as the flash enhanced the "lightness" of the brown.

I'll post another pic tomorrow when I can take a shot in daylight/no flash.

MYL 115= $33

For Cottesmore boots. I thought these boots are handgrade. They are the most expensive shoes in C&J catalogue....

I'd also like to know if they stock the tan color. Ben Silver carries the Tan Weymouths but they're $675 US. I've been looking at the Polo Benton's in Tan at the local Polo store because of the price difference.
