plal and customs

Hello, I remember somebody on this board saying that plal makes an effort to avoid customs taxes. Is this true? I would like to buy a pair of C&J shoes from this store, but I am not sure if it will pass Dutch (EU) customs without getting charged. Please let me know your experiences and share your knowledge, Mike

Not to take away form p. lal, but pediwear (uk) will beat their price just for the asking, plus it's a lot closer and less complicated for you since you are in the EU.

Ok, thanks. Are you sure they will be cheaper if I negotiate a price? Is it possible to get the shoe VAT-free because I live outside the UK? If so, will Dutch customs add their VAT instead? Mike

Don't take my word for it--email pediwear yourself and explain that you are tempted by the fine offering of p.plal.
