I'm looking for suggestions and style ideas using plaids. There is a thing I need to go to on Saturday and everyone has to wear plaid, and I just don't wear plaids very often, Glen Plaid being the exception.

PS: Does Argyle count?

Pants. Plaid pants always attract attention.

A kilt, obviously. Black Watch if there isn't a more suitable tartan.

I don't think the Kilt is for me, but a Tartan is a good idea. Good call on the pants too.

I don't want to overdo it or look like a 5 year old.

The key to pulling it off are the accessories!

+1

Woolen or cashmere ties with plaid patterns are also a great thing.
