Places you most often use cash over a card

For those of you who do carry cash,
I was curious as to what you guys prefer to (or have to) pay in cash?

Some of you carry hundreds in cash wherever you go, but to be honest I do not see the utility in this.

for most things that i od in person be it real estate or groceries. the only thing i pay for using cards or electronic means are things i order from other places.
