What is Door to hell doing on that list? That place is magical!

Edit: I'd switch that for the Road of Bones

aside from the asbestos mine, chrnobyl and the snake island, I'd visit all of them. the gates to hell would actually be a place I'd like to see.

It's been up for at liest a year.

I have been to the door of hell and, I've got to be honest, was a little disappointed. It's just a firey pit, really and not a lot else. It's not very big and not really explosive.

Also, the mud volcanoes? I've seen them to, and they're not scary, not particularly pungent or poisonous. I'm not saying make a trip to Azerbaijan just to see them, but why not if you're there?

Also, I'm desperate to go to that road in Bolivia. Looks like fun...

No clue but I read the news from south america on a regular basis and there's always buses going off cliffs and ****. Just recently there was a head-on collision between 2 buses in peru. Tons of casualties. It really is a regular occurrence. When you go to those countries, it's best to fly wherever you can afford it. If you can't fly everywhere, at least fly to avoid multi-day bus rides through the Andes. They are seriously hazardous. I take risks (sky diving and rock climbing), but I have always had a certain measure of control in those activities. Going off a cliff in a bus isn't an appealing end to me, personally.
