Day 1 and 2 passed by us so fast we barely noticed that day 3 was here. Pitti goes on for 4 days, but unofficially, day 3 is kind of the last day, since most people don't actaully stay for day 4. The buyers are usually done, the peacocks are moving on to Milan for the fashion week. The people who stay are the exhibitors, who are notably tired by then, and of course Erica and I. More on that tomorrow.

We started day 3 by looking through booths. The rain was coming down hard outside, so it was pretty crowded inside the main pavillion (where most of the more "SF approved" vendors are exhibiting). Unfortunately (or rather, fortunately for them) all the exhibitors were busy with customers, so we didn't get a chance to talk with as many of them as we had hoped to. We did however get a few snaps and some short video clips, which you can see on Styleforum's Instagram account. We'll spend all day today walking around the booths as well, so I'm hoping we'll get some more coverage of that for you all.

After this we met up with Mr Claymore and a few other friends and headed over to the Generation Africa runway show just outside the Pitti area, where Ikire Jones showed some new designs (there's a short clip of that on the Instagram account).

We tried getting some Street style pictures as well, but as you can tell from the pictures below, it wasn't exactly crowded yesterday.

Later in the evening we got together with 15 or so people for dinner at a place of @Braddock's choosing. It was a really nice traditional Tuscan trattoria called Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco. Needless to say, there are more pictures of that on Instagram as well. Since so many are leaving today, the last night of Pitti was celebrated pretty intensely, so... late start today.

Just a short side note: Of course this thread is open to discussion about the pictures posted, but please try and keep it civil. A lot of the people in the pictures will surely read this thread. I generally subscribe to the idea of "if you wouldn't say something to someone's face, then dont post it on internet either".

Enough chatter, here are the pictures you guys are waiting for:

And the award for "best prepared for a full day of rain" goes to Alex and T-Michael from Norwegian Rain :slayer:

Is T-Michael the guy in the recent Drake's publicity shots?

Haha!

Skin colour apart, the two gentlemen are roughly the same age, both have white beards, both are well dressed, and I'm guessing that both are English. I suppose I should have done an image comparison before asking.

I'm just messing with you. The guy in the Drakes FW15 editorial is Jason Jules.

T-Michael is a tailor from Bergen, Norway. He co-founded Norwegian Rain with the other bearded fellow.
