Haha, I actually think that's the reaction he was after though. One of the nicest/funniest guys we met all week, and he's a forum member.

I usually go as an Asian Harajuku Cowboy. I expect that most here would represent Aristocrat style strongly.

Agreed. Greg and David and I had drinks with him at the Tie Your Tie thing. Super nice. Had a cool suit then, too. Seems like he's got his thing down.

Fun thread! Thank you so much for shooting and sharing.

Funny thought after looking through the pictures a couple of times: on the whole, the Asians look the best! Lots of consistent classic style, and fewer goofy looks.

I agree wholeheartedly. The Japanese, Korean and Hong Kong guys were definitely the most consistently well dressed. I actually think that they (during this fair), generally did Italian style better than most Italians.

You rang? Well done. Get these men a butter chicken dinner from Sostanza!

Exactly what I was going for. Trolling Pitti and now Styleforum. It was a very polarizing outfit. When walking around Florence later that evening I got anything form compliments from old Italian men to rendering entire groups of people speechless.

The two of you are such a charming couple. I am sorry I didn't get the chance to spend more time with you. We are definitely going to have to put together some sort of Forum meet up in January.

Well, thank you. You are most kind. It was a pleasure to meet you as well. I must say your writing about the show is really a treat to read. Gives me a new perspective and I was even there!

Definitely agree. They do Preppy/Ivy style better than most Americans too. As a collective culture, they seem to have an innate understanding of the minute details that define a style.

Ahhhhh..... Good 'ol Styleforvm.... Going from insulting my suit, to my face; in what, two posts? Thank you as usual, for your insightful (or should I say inspiteful) contribution.

Good thing @EFV didn't also post the picture with my new straw topper. You guys would have had even more of a field day!

or just PP the equivalent value!

well, i think minute details is kind of their jam in general. no surprise that it translates to their dress as well.

Unfortunately, amazing deliciousness can't be valued or PayPaled. Sorry! Get in the business, come to Florence, and I'll take you to dinner!

Very true. Also, they tend to be slim, which doesn't hurt.
