1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The pilled camel topcoat on the guy with the gray hat is definitely Isaia. I pinned that coat to my Pinterest board. In fact, in that shot, he looks like another Isaia employee who was at the recent sample sale and I also met once at my tailor's studio.

Those hats give me a '70s vibe. I used to have a late-'70s vintage hat -- similar to the brown one -- in dove gray, but I gave it away a few years ago. Mine may have been a little more "Thin White Duke" but it also had a legendary brim like these. I think the guy I gave it to still wears it.

I missed the whole discussion but that guy is the same person - maybe there's something in the angle that's confusing Fok here... I'll remember his coat forever - the mixed color yarns in a donegal weave gave an amazing effect. Really beautiful stuff.

Paging comrade. I once investigated this line after he said it was his favorite/only shoes that fit a low instep.

Do these come in extended widths?

None. It is an Italian tactic to chicafy hats for men. Stick to fedoras.

i think it is a combination of simple silliness and sheer satisfaction of the rise it seemingly gets out of everyone.

    As one blogger breathlessly reported--
    From
    http://four-pins.com/style/the-wizardry-of-robert-rabensteiner/

Apparently in an interview with a wizard / epic model / street style king who wears circular glasses in lieu of a crown.

These sorts of things remind me how this is a fun hobby but it would be embarrassing to have to write about clothes for a living.

Robert Rabensteiner bears an uncannily close resemblance to Bill Bryson.
