Looking at the pitti schedule I'm surprised if people even have time for photos.

Anyone knows how long verification of ones account will take? Just registered today and would like to visit the fair at least one day next week

Was pretty much immediate for me. But it is the weekend so I'd at least give them a workday to sort. Must also be mental for them on event week.

Enjoying a cup of coffee and catching up on my IG feed to see pics from last nights parties and Day 1 of Pitti Uomo. I've noticed 6-8 people wearing cowboy hats and as far as I can tell only one of them is from the US (Texas). Gotta love the Southwest influence.

The crowd at the St Regis for last nights MAARNY party ( creative black tie theme) looked quite stylish. A few familiar Styleforum faces as well.

There are a lot of people just trying to get papped tbh.

The more stylish guys (imho) fly right under the radar. In fact the ones I've seen are actively avoiding the photographers. Maybe they are actually working....crazy huh

The ones trying to get papped are anything but stylish. Looks a bit contrived to me...and that ain't stylish.

During the day most of the actual Buyers or Exhibitors wear comfortable, smart casual clothing and comfy shoes (the exception being tailored brands usually wearing their full look). Some of the evening parties held in elegant settings are a mix of formal, creative black tie and semi-formal while parties held in a variety of showroom, suite or retail settings are cool, casual style. There is a little bit of something for everyones style, you just find and hang with your "style tribe".

Just arrived this evening in florence. Already saw a lot of Menswear-guys and some familiar faces like SC and his gang as well as Menswear Musing. Will see if the pitti guys come back to me and let me buy a ticket, since it is not working until now. Anyways I love the vibe and the way you can tell who is in the city for the fair haha
Florence ain't bad either!

Here are my outfits for Pitti Uomo 107, day and evening events.

All the shirts are from @larimars (except the black tie one).
I also commissioned the navy suit and the velvet dinner jacket, which fit perfectly.

Only i could go to Pitti and come back with next to no pictures. Although in my defence im British and camera shy and it was a bit crazy with meetings.

However I did find a few. Last one was a drinks event by Huddersfield Fine Worsted. Excuse the last pose, lots of tuscan wine at this point.
