There was another unanswered post about this, so maybe nobody knows...but anybody have an idea of piombo sizing? I looked at a previous sale on the B&S from a few years ago and it seemed to have short sleeves and a narrow chest. I'm normally a 38R, should I size up?

I have two Piombo suits and one Piombo jacket. They fit me very well and I'm around a 36, slightly larger than a 36.

In most brands, I'm a 38R. I have a Piombo sports coat in a 38, which fits on the snug side around the chest and waist, and in retrospect might have been better with a 40. Nice jacket otherwise, for the (Yoox sale) price.

I've bought in the last year 3 Piombo sport coats from Yoox and they fit excellent. They are slim fit and tighter in the chest than any other brands I have (maybe similar to Margiela). I'm a 40R (50 IT). I tried once in a shop a jacket both in 50IT and 52IT and I preferred my normal size. If you are used to relaxed fit jackets, you should size up. But I would not suggest it.

If you like more fitted jackets in the same style, I would suggest Tonello. I would buy one myself but could not find one in navy or wool. Sorry to hijack the thread, but for a similar, more fashion oriented brand/style, what do you think for the price of this Margiela jacket ?

I am usually a 40 drop 7 in brands such as Corneliani, etc.
Piombo come up small. A EU52 (42) fits perfectly. I have 5 of their blazers, every one a 42, every one fits perfect. They are a very tailored fit.
I would strongly suggest going a size up

I am 21 p to p
18.5 shoulder
25.5 sleeve
a Piombo EU52 fits me perfectly

Resurrection! For the benefit of Piombo buyers I will chime in, definitely size up as Dan said. I am a 36 in most makers but take a 38 in Piombo.
