Piombo blazer sizing inquiry (size up required?)

Hi,

I normally wear size 40 (EU 50), but for Italian brands like Boglioli and Lardini I size up to 42 (EU 52). Does anyone know if it is best to size up on Piombo?

Thank you in advance

Sizing of different models can vary. I purchased two Piombo jackets online, both size 48. One fit and one was too small. If you can't try it on first, make sure there's a good return policy.

Presumably you want to buy on line and not trouble to try them on in a shop?

I'd guess Yoox since they usually have a bunch of Piombo in which case order both sizes and return which ever doesn't fit

All of the Piombo I've ever tried on has been fairly trim -- even more so than Boglioli and Lardini. If you are a 52 in those brands, I'd order a 52 in Piombo.

That's a good suggestion - I'll probably do this. Thank you.

Just the opposite for me. I've needed all my Piombos (well, all 2) taken in pretty dramatically.
