Pink Trousers...thoughts?

What would you wear with a pair of Hermes fine-wale corduroy hot-pink trousers?

A light tan/khaki/faint pink shirt and a chocolate brown sweater.

I would not. I can do glen plaid, burnt orange, even have a pale blue pair here waiting to be hemmed. But hot pink trou are just too conspicuous. Same as I don't do lemon yellow or most other bright colors.

I'd go for an updated preppy look and combine it with a blue OC shirt and Blue Blazer. The shirt and jacket would need to be fitted and well tailored or it would look too old fashioned IMO.

Also expandable to other color combinations, even possibly with a tie, if one were so motivated and confident in their ability to do so.

Not quite pink exactly, the color of these cords is described as "mushroom" on the tag, but this is what I've done
