What would you wear with a pair of Hermes fine-wale corduroy hot-pink trousers?

A light tan/khaki/faint pink shirt and a chocolate brown sweater.

I'd go for an updated preppy look and combine it with a blue OC shirt and Blue Blazer. The shirt and jacket would need to be fitted and well tailored or it would look too old fashioned IMO.

+zⁿ

Also expandable to other color combinations, even possibly with a tie, if one were so motivated and confident in their ability to do so.

Not quite pink exactly, the color of these cords is described as "mushroom" on the tag, but this is what I've done

Fixed.

Add pearls and a grey bob/flip and you'd be the talk of the country club, Muffy. You wouldn't look a day over fifty.... nine.

I remember these...the wife talked me out of them. I have a cardigan from that collection (black with fuschia trim). I think a dark turtleneck would be nice.

A flame proof suit as I doused them with petrol before putting them on a fire.

With those? A black halter top, heels, and a lime-green feather boa. But only if you can sing like Liza Minelli.
