I have 2 pink dress shirts. One from (gulp)Perry Ellis...and one from Charvet...

It's funny. I get varied responses from those shirts.

My corporate Euro friends really like it...some say the WISH they could wear pink w/their suits/blazers but they say it doesn't match their skin tone..but I have more tan skin and I guess it contrasts well.

My asian friends(taking from another post)...who come from a more conservative background who also work in the corporate world, have some interesting responses. "oh wow..pink?" It strikes some of them as so off the wall, yet I tell them it won't hurt their masculinity any if you wear pink...but they seem a bit threatened by it.(maybe it was just that one guy)....

How do you all look at pink shirts? What have responses been for you?

Ditto. I have a couple of solid pinks and pink within blue. But I love lavender and other purples.

So have you received different comments about your pink shirts?

I think pink is one of the staples. After white and light blue it's my favorite solid color for shirts.

I have both. 2 patterned lavenders (an old one from express, a newer one from TM Lewin) and a ton of pink shirts (2 tyrwhitt's, 1 BB, 1 Barney's, 1 BR, probably a few more).

Most get worn a few times a year. Some get quite a bit more. Lavender is especially useful, as few people wear it, so it is distinctive.

took me forever to finally buy a pink shirt-- sure glad i did. Ensure it is of the highest quality, and a twill looks best i think (especially in french cuffs). Women dig this shirt more than any other color on me, which made the purchase well worth it (I found a luigi borrelli from virtualclotheshorse, and wear it with a grey or navy suit, sometimes with just suit, solid tie, and pink TV fold linen pocket square)

Pink's become a fave of mine. It looks great set against a neutral suit color like grey and brown. I also have a few pink polo shirts that look good with white brogues in the spring/summer. The other color I'm really digging is mint green, which is some of y'alls lavendar

I honestly can't believe that it's even a question whether it's appropriate for a man to wear a pink shirt in any setting.

QFE. Pink is a very flattering color for a lot of men's complexions.
