:wow: When I was in Italy last winter, I searched for crocodile watch straps, I was hopeful I'd find some in Florence, at the leather markets. But I was let down  However, I did score some sweet leather belts and bracelets!

First two bespoke-made peccary leather pairs from Peru. One medium brown with black alpaca lining, one dark purple with similar alpaca lining. Hand-stitched, soft as a baby's bum, best price-quality ratio I've found and, well, they fit like a glove.

F., ever since I first saw that buttoned pair of yours, I've been aching for a similar pair. I may have one made by this Peruvian magician of mine. I'm not too keen on that round stitching on the palm, though.

Bumping my earlier unanswered post above, how do gloves like this:
http://www.chesterjefferies.co.uk/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=66
handle a watch? Are they just incompatible? In general I imagine that gloves fit loose enough to go over a watch. What about shirt cuffs? Can't imagine them going over french cuffs....

A thin dress watch and barrel cuffs - fine but anything like french cuffs not really. Sometimes I roll the french cuff into the glove but it isn't very neat.

Last year in Toronto, I spent more on gloves than on shoes!
Every pair I bought were absolutely and completely useless!
Leather with cashmere sounds so romantic, but they are crap in really cold weather..and I have 4 pairs!

I have those same Peccary gloves from Paula Run unlined.

This was before they had a new website etc. It was a good price then, around $80.

Now those same gloves would cost me $130.
Not bad, still was better under $100.
