This happened in one wear.
It was simply from walking on damp pavement (not direct rain)
Notice the significant wear that occurred in 1 wearing, esp. near the toe.
The soles must have become super-porous, and pebbles have even "dried/melted" into the soles.
Also, notice the long crack that has formed.
As per the forming crack, should I condition the leather? If yes, what product?
What do I do from here? Just wear them until the soles are ground away?
