Great casual shoes. I have no experience with JL sneakers but I believe Heschung makes many of the casual shoes for JL. What's the country of origin? If it's France, they are definitely made by Heschung.

I think I'm with Chorse - I just don't get it. Where or with what do you wear them?
But of course, jmho - if you love them, more power to you.

I wear them as summer day casual.

With matching belt, they go well with everything from jeans to cotton/linen pants.

Actually I have found brown leather "sneakers" to be great for summer casual wear - I don't like loafers (actually I detest them). I have a pair of Bexley leather shoes of this type and I have mulled over some of the nice ones Stu has on his site. Nice purchase.

---Same thinking I have, I stopped wearing sandles and have started wearing these type of sneakers. I have some Ivory Suede sneakers also. I see these as more elegant(no toes), more comfortable, and protect the feet better, also, great when driving a stick shift.

I agree. I recently got some ivory/khaki suede Puma Futurecats that are great when driving. These two Sutor Mantelassi are nice (shameless plug for VHC

Nice. Again, much better than loafers & boat shoes - that is one line I adamantly refuse to cross

Funny. I looked at those and thought, "why would anyone wear those when they could wear loafers or boat shoes instead?"

To each their own.

I'm fairly calssical in dress, but boat shoes just have no flair and give me that old man vibe.

PS I get compliments on sneakers from some rather attractive young women, so I'm sticking with sneak's in addition, they are more comforable, better for driving, and infintely more stylish. I like loafers though for more formal restaurants and such at times. A brown loafer can look quite refind, stylish, and have some flair.
