The black and brown lace ups are...$342 each and the loafers are John Lobb, I sure felt great today when I saw them in Lobb for $875 and I paid $397 at NM on Worth ave.

Dude, next time you are in SoFLA, send me a PM. Who attended to you at NM? (Next time as for Celeste) that reminds, me I have to go to NM on Worth on sat (pair of Pumas they transferred in...no Lobb's

). Did you go to the RL store? Nice, huh? If so, did you see the garden at the rear of the store? Did you go to Borelli? How about Domenico Vacca? Aren't they tiny? Jon. Oh, yeah: nice shoes.

I sure will. My parents actually have a place in Boca off of Camino Real. I hit just about all of Worth. Vacca and Borrelli were both pretty small but Vacca in NYC isn't much bigger.

Urban, I could kick myself for not calling up NMLC and asking for those chocolate brown EG's. They were my size. ARGHH.

I could kick you too. Not to rub it in but they put both of mine to shame. Same style as the blacks but a super nice chocolate brown.

Gorgeous shoes, and great deals too. Nice job. Personally, I'd find the Lobb hard to pair; I guess they'd work with khakis. I think I'd probably put some brown polish on them to darken 'em a bit. Wish the NM's around me got such good shoes.

Very nice. What do they call the color of the Lobb's? I think they'd make a nice shoe to pair with jeans once in a while. As a side note, I'd like to nominate the EG Cardiff/RLPL Whittaker as the official shoe of the Style Forum.

As far as image size goes, you can either reduce the size in a paint program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, or you can choose, from the Imageshack website, to post the picture as a thumbnail, which can be clicked to view in full size.

Very nice.

What color would everyone recommend to wear with the camel/tan Lobbs? I have a pair of loafers that I wear in the summer in the same color and usually pair it with a matching tan belt. Am I limited to just this?

Thanks for the input. Nick, the color is called Havana? Who knows? Someone before posted the color of there Lobbs was called jive.
Kabert, I know what you mean. The NM's in the NY/NJ area get real lousy selection of shoes too. The Worth Ave stpre and the Bal Harbour store had a ton of Lobbs.
I wore them today with Khakis and they worked well. I also have a dark green suit with an identical window paine and a dark brown suit with pinstripe I migt try and pair them up with. I really bought them as casual shoes though...maybe even white pants? Thanks for the imageshack advice... If there is any interest I can post some EG/RLPL vs Santoni Fatte a Mano side by sides too...

Yes I did, and they had none at all. Some C&J's and a bunch of made in Italy Loafers but that was it. Maus and Hoffman had a few pairs of EG but nothing on sale except a pair of golf shoes.
