Can anyone point me to some good pictures of jackets with a 3-roll-2.5 button stance and relatively open front quarters? I've searched the archives and checked the stock of some higher-end ebay sellers but not found anything that is photographed particularly well. I'm looking for a photo that I can use as an illustration for my next Chan jacket.

Thanks,

dan

Would you consider this Oxxford 3/2.5?

not really. it looks like it wants to be buttoned as opposed to matt's and the attolinis.

or we could call it a 3 roll to 3

(it`s hard to tell though, as the differences between 2.5, 2, etc. are very small)

IMO, 3-roll-2.5 looks "cooler" than 3-roll-2; 3-roll-2 looks too "artificial" to me. However, what is considered to be "most elegant"? And most suitable for a tall person?

I don't think that either is correct. I like the look of a long roll. It just looks richer to me, but others disagree.

But if you just wish a long roll, why not go for a two-button jacket? (I do not question what you say, I am just interested in finding out more about this; until very recently I didn't even know that the 3-roll-2.5/2 concept existed, this is all very new to me and I want to give my tailor the right instructions next time I have a jacket made; I had a normal 3-button one done recently and I think it would have been much nicer if it had been more like 3-roll-2.5 or maybe even 3-roll-2)

The other option is a single button which I'm doing with peak lapels for the first of my new bespoke jackets.
