Picked up some Santonis yesterday in Hong Kong

I literally stumbled on them. Â They were on sale at 60% discount. Â The retail price was USD450. Â I got them for about USD180 per pair. Â They look like they came from the same last. Â I read with interest about the orange-sock vs tan-sock versions of Santoni fatte a mano on this forum. Â Mine are in orange-sock and though I am not a shoe expert, they don't look handmade. Just wanted to share my find. Â I think I am getting corrupted here.

Both Lane Crawford and Seibu in Pacific Place have them. I picked mine up from Seibu. Not many sizes left though.

I like the wholecut better too, but I did not have any monkstrap, so I thought why not

This last with elongated toebox works well with the more stylish designs like wholecut and monkstrap. It would not be as appropriate on a pair of captoe though. Just MHO.

Great pickup, last year I saw the exact same shoes on Seibu and they were 30% off only.

I don't think the store accepted telephone orders, and it had no online site either.
