looking fwd to getting a lot of use out of these this summer. hard to describe just how soft/washed they are; don't even really feel like denim.

If this is pair that someone was able to get off eBay for $50 like two weeks ago, then I hate you (I got stuck in class and wasn't able to put in a bid [IMG] ). I've got a pair of the selvedge vintage slim fit jeans in white from J. Crew that I'm pretty fond of but I'd love to grab a pair of the RRL's

I have the J. Crew vintage wheat (off white) jeans and I think they fit great.

I go brown suede boat shoes (with gum sole) and no socks.

would also be a fan of something along the lines of brown captoes and a colored (blue or something) sock but I have never been at the point where I wanted to wear white denim and leather soles at the same time...

My favorite top combo with them is probably a slim blue gingham shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

Last summer I wore Gap 1969 white jeans and loved them (pics on the other white jeans threads). The rise is a little low, though (if I paired it with a Fred Perry polo I ran the risk of exposing plumber's crack!). This year I'm thinking of trying something like this, back in stock:

JW, I got those white 514s 2 summers ago and they're among my favorite jeans. Very decent fit, nice construction. Go true to size because of the low rise.

Dude, have you no class? He's obviously a burn victim.

Tis true. Acid burn it you want to get technical but unlike many acid burn victims mine self-inflicted in an attempt to obscure my identity.

(note to self, don't use that photoshop mask anymore)

That was me. [IMG] I gotta agree with grundle's assessment, amazing pair of denim, so soft.

Not extremely low, but if you're used to wearing more or a 501s type rise, it feels weird at first.

I disagree on both points. Roll looks good, and the dirty sneaks balance the crispness of the white jeans. Though I also think a dark brown desert boot would look good.
