Phoenix Area- Best tailor for alterations?

I've noticed at least one person is also from Phoenix, and I am wondering if he or anyone else knows a good tailor in the area for alterations.

Good consignment shops would also be welcomed, i'm in college sans a trust fund.

Greeting fellow Phoenician -

I personally use Best Alterations at 19th Avenue and Camelback (SE Corner) for all my tailoring needs. He's reasonably priced and has done a very nice job for me.

As to consignment stores, there are several good places to look.

For streetwear/urban wear I would definitely check out Buffalo Exchange. Started down in Tucson, they have several locations in the Valley (Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa and maybe more).

For more formal clothing and casual that goes beyond jeans and t-shirts, go to Well Suited (it's the men's version of My Sister's Closet). They have three locations, one on Camelback at 20th Street, one at Scottsdale Rd. and Lincoln Drive, and one way up in North Scottsdale at Pinnacle Peak and Pima.

For new clothes, check out As-Is on Scottsdale Road and (Curry - I think). They have department store clearance stuff including a lot of shirts from stores like Bergdorfs and Saks. They also had a ton of Polo and Aeropostale stuff last time I was there.

And you can't forget about Last Chance - it's in the Colonnade shopping center at Camelback and 20th Street. It's the Nordstrom outlet where they sell everything that's been returned - and it's much cheaper than Nordstrom Rack.

I went to the well suited place on scottsdale today, had some nice stuff but not in my size, i ended up getting a zegna pocket square.


I got a brioni sportcoat recently with unaltered sleeves and need them made my size and the buttonholes put in, will certainly check out your place.
