For some reason there were good reviews so I bought one a few years ago. Utter ****. Come to think of it, I'm not sure why I haven't thrown it out.

Really bad, I second Mangroomer as being better (although it's ******* crazy sometimes in a good way)

Worthless...any hair clippers for $19.99 from your friendly drugstore would work better

If you want hair removed, have it professionally done.

What exactly are you guys using it for? For everything I use it for, it works like a charm.

I've had one for a while. It will work but it takes a ton of passes before you notice it taking stuff off. It seems to work better when the hair is dry, but you literally have to keep going back and forth to get a good trim. Personally, I would look for something else since the bodygroom is pretty inconsistent.

Would love to hear of some decent alternatives (preferably waterproof).

Totally agree. The shaver head on mine was getting dull, so I bought replacement head and it's somewhat better, but still not great and requires more than one pass when trimming.
