If HY pants fit you well, they're well made of great materials, so sure.
Howard Yount trousers are the bomb diggity. Have two pairs; want a closet full.
Best to ask for CMT prices, just to be sure for the comparison. If there is a massive markup for the fabric, source it yourself and go CMT.
Shirts are 380 HKD now
380 for what? CMT or inclusive of fabric?
That includes their in house shirting fabric, still cheaper than buying a decent shirt OTR in Hong Kong
How much are HY's pants?
Any idea how is the full canvas made? By hand or by machine?
Yes 380 is inclusive of their house fabric for shirts.
Their cmt prices for shirts are 250hkd (fused) and 350hkd (canvassed collars/cuffs).
bargain. so what are the current CMT suit prices? anyone?
Cmt for trousers is 780hkd. I didn't ask about jackets.
Wow, I emailed Peter Lee in February and got the following prices:
Please note our suit start from HK$2,900 and shirts start from HK$280 from our in-house materials
Fully canvassed suit (floating canvass) will be HK$2,000 more on each suit.
So that is $4900 for a fully cavassed suit with their in-house materials.
Will be going to HK in May - hope they don't go up by too much.
Floating canvass can be attached by several ways. For the low end method, it does not need much more time than a fused one. There are several ways to make a floating canvas suit and the result are different. It maybe difficult to judge the price by just stating the suit is fully canvass. It may help by asking how the canvass is put on the jacket.
