Peter King seems to be losing steam a bit at the end of the season. He's had an up and down year what with choosing Jacksonville and Seattle in the Super Bowl, and it didn't get much better. About the best analysis he did this season was recommending people take Peyton with their #1 pick in a fantasy draft, and that Rudi Johnson would be decent in fantasy as well (which he wasn't, really, but not as bad a pick as Jax/Seattle). I realize that sports writers are supposed to shake it up a bit, but I thought Pats/Eagles was the consensus preseason pick... even if I did predict some upsets for the Eagles in the playoffs [IMG] Hopefully he turns it around in 2005, it's getting to the point where I like reading all of his ramblings about his daughters more than his football analysis because it's more interesting/accurate.

Nah, he picked the Colts, then the Steelers to upset the Pats. At least he didn't pick the Eagles to win...

That comment about Duane Starks that he made this week is just stupid. Do you think the Patriots didn't do due diligence when checking out his health history, or do you think they won't have him take a physical?

Joe Theismann is a much bigger Pats supporter, for whatever reason, but you can't really fault news media for liking the Pats, they have only won three of the last 4 SBs.

Today's column wasn't quite so bad... but it was mostly about baseball.
