1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It's surprisingly common. I spotted it on an overcoat that I was admiring on BART this morning.

In all fairness, I saw a young man with the label on the sleeve. He thought it was supposed to be there. He thanked me and promised he would remove it.

Don't get me wrong, I tell them to remove it, whenever possible. Nevertheless, it is still a pet peeve.

Spent more than a few hours roaming airport concourses lately. The amount of tent shirts on display, even on otherwise well dressed fellas, is disturbing. Those central box pleats don't do many people any favours, but I saw a pear shaped bloke with a big pot belly the other day, who still had at least eight inches of extra fabric folded over and tucked into the back of his strides.

Has anyone ever been so bold as to correct a total stranger on things like this?

^^^ Brass balls . . . I don't criticize strangers at the airport. If they aren't put together, it only makes you look better. I don't feel obligated to help the other guy, SF members excluded.

Wierd. That's very a early 80s show biz talk show guest look.
A mullet 'do completes the look.
