A break in the line of trousers. Basically, a fold that is caused by them touching the top of your shoes or, god help you, the ground.

always a bit of 5 o'clock shadow, and careless, 'run your fingers through it' length hair

i don't mind being cleanshaven and having my hair closely cropped, it actually looks quite flattering on me. i just don't like having to mess with hair products and taking the time to shave all the time.

I hate pastel colours, and red. I simply can't get away with wearing them.
never wear crew-necked t shirts
every button-down shirt I have has something that makes it "special" or different, I don't wear "plain" clothes, I always like to have shirts with details, designs, or colors that make them stand out
I wear "simple" outfits, I like to let the clothes speak for themselves and almost never layer.
I love collars, if a shirt doesn't have a collar it better either be a v-neck or a sweater with a neck.
I like a clean, fitted and sophisticated style with certain details that force it to be "streetwear".

So, no sandals to the beach or barbeque ?
No white socks with sneakers ?

- I go for simple, classic looks
- Never wear a crew t-shirt under a buttonfront shirt. A v-neck is the only option for me.
- Instead of wearing a short sleeve buttonfront shirt, I'd rather wear a long sleeve shirt, but with the sleeves rolled up.
- Fit is more important than quality, with the exception of denim where I must have both.
- Clothes should be an extension of my personality, but my style is constantly evolving

Precisely. I tired of the overuse and improper use of sandals by many others when I was in college, such that I can't tolerate them any further. Besides I am not much of a beach guy -- usually in boat shoes on a boat watching the people on the beach. Grey socks with my one pair of sneakers -- as it is I only bought them last month, which is the first pair I've owned in a decade.

I only wear things I love which have in turn been carefully edited.
I try to be as versatile as I can with my wardobe and dress for the seasons.
I exclusively wear thinner socks and have gotten away from white (except thin white uniqulo ribbed socks love those).
If I have to think about whether something works I won't wear it.
Never leave the house without the smell good.
I always stay fly even when I'm around the house.

I try to buy things that wont go out of style for a long time (i.e. no superstacked or superskinny jeans).

Unless I'm wearing a crew neck shirt on top, I always wear an undershirt.

I'll give up my sandals when you pry them from my cold dead toes.

PS. Sandals are for West Hollywood types that go to Rage ie. Whodini.
