Hello everyone!

I was planning to buy myself Persol 649 shades but I've encountered with the strangest size fact.
My wayfarers are 54 size and they fit perfectly but when i tried out the same sized Persols the temples were too short due to the big curve for the ears (i hope that makes sense). I obviously tried the 56 size but they were bit too wide for that look.
My question is, can they be adjusted that is can the temples be straightened?
I hope my english is understandable, thank you :)

I am not an expert on Persol, but I do own a few pairs. I've never straightened the temples, but you could certainly do it, if you wanted to. I have found that some Persol models have (what I consider to be) rather short temples. I prefer 145mm, at least.

Actually, I take that back, I may have straightened the temples on my 2931. I had to curve the arm out to prevent it pressing against my temple in a most uncomfortable way, so to compensate for the shortening effect of doing that, I did straighten the ends a bit, yes. The temples length of that pair is 140mm.

I would recommend trying the 9649, which is a slimmer version of the 649 and which I prefer. The temple arms on my pair is 145mm and I think they are the most comfortable Persols I own.

Thank you very much for the response, it sure is relief to know that I don't have to settle for oversized 649s just for temple curve
