Perrelet Watches on eBay?

I was looking through eBay and I keep seeing new Perrelet watches for cheap (e.g. no reserve price, and usually the auction ends with it being anywhere from $500 to just under $1000 for this Power Reserve model which *supposedly* retails in the ~$4000 range). And I checked the sellers - they typically have a lot of sales done and are very highly rated (98-99%)

Is there something I'm missing?

Not familiar with the brand so can't say if exaggerated MSRP is SOP

Wouldn't exaggerated pricing (at this price leve) hurt the brand - drawing reputation questions that I have raised?

Anyone else who knows anything about this group?
