Anyone fill me in on what's worked for them in the past? I am looking to finally get a blazer that fits so I can bring it anywhere and wear it anytime (too much business travel lately).

Thinking: 2B high stance, very high notched narrow lapel, side vents, silver buttons (working on sleeves?), narrow waist, besom pockets (ticket for fun?), Zegna fabric (will decide in person).

Want this to be that go-to jacket so I can stop thinking about clothes altogether.

Gonna get it made by Chan next time I am in HK...btw anyone know a good place for buttons online?

If you feel it's within your capacity to pull it off, I'd highly recommend considering a 6x2 DB blue blazer.

DB blazers are definitely more classical.

I have never seen a blazer with jetted pockets before.

Why Zegna fabric? I would have thought you would be better going for something a bit more durable. Zegna make fabrics with some striking colours, but if it is plain navy perhaps a decent H&S fabric would be preferable.

Try a heavier, lighter than navy flannel.
