People don't understand calories

An out-of-shape guy in the office just now, "270 calories? That's not bad. For a whole meal?"

Yeah, then you'll get hungry in 2 hours and eat 400 calories of potato chips.

I don't have much money and I want a good calories per dollar ratio when I eat. It is annoying to hear people who automatically think fewer calories is better.
