Pebblegrain leather year round?

I have some brown split toe pebble grain shoes with a vibram type sole. they work great for fall /winter. My question is, are thse ok for spring /summer on those damp rainy days? Is pebblegrain season specific?
Could I pair them up with a pair of brown /white seersucker pants for example?
Any advice would be appreciated gentlemen.

I'd certainly wear them in rainy weather, but I'm not so certain about with seersucker. Hard to visualize. Depends on the styling/heaviness of the shoe, I'd guess.
