So I received my Peal wholecuts and I've noticed that the mediallions aren't perfectly symmetrical, which I have noticed in other wholecuts as well. I'm looking for feedback on the positioning of the medallion on this pair and the degree to which it would annoy you...

I paid attention to details, but this is just petty.

I don't know... I'm not at all OCD, but I think the right shoe (left in the pic) looks great and the left shoe, looks, um, like the medallion is off-center. I have to admit, if I noticed it, it would bother me.

Lovely shoes, though. And I typically "don't get" wholecuts.

I see what you're saying, and while it's noticeable, I don't think it would bother me. Don't worry about it and enjoy some attractive shoes.

I'm staring at it and I still don't see it. Which one is off center?

Stared for another 2 minutes, still don't see it.

I'm OCD myself and I like symmetry. In fact I have been known to buy 2 identical pairs of shoes on the internet, and pick and choose the best pair out of them and send the bad pair back. In your pic, the difference in the welt edge would bother me more.

haha...it's funny...I don't see the edge welt issue, are you sure it's not the angle?

The medallion on the left shoe is slightly tilted to the instep whereas the medallion on the right shoe is smack dab on the top of the shoe. Minor detail, but these are the things that i notice.

Here is a better shot:

I see what you did there, and I approve. Really cruel.

Haha. I'm just mad because my left peal wholecut is *clearly a lighter color* than my right one.

Darken the other shoe a bit. They're so light they can stand it, and as I raised in the other post they are clearly not band-aid colored.

Is that your plan for dealing withe medallion? Put a bandaid on it so you can't see how egregiously misaligned it is?
