i'd be a 9.5, thanks anyway...
these weren't my ideal pair of chukkas anyway, if they were calf skin instead of pebble grain, they would have been pretty ideal...

I called BB today and they refunded me 15% for the sale that starts tomorrow even though I ordered on Wednesday. What a deal. What a coMpany. I did not deserve the discount and they took care of me anyways. Such customer service is hard to find these days. Good on you, brooks bros.

+100.

I also ordered the burgundy chuka boots on Wednesday, took advantage of Doc's $10 off code, also ordered some socks and whatnot. I just called BB reps today and she gladly applied the additional 15% refund.

You may hate their styles and clothes, but Brooks Brothers is tops when it comes to customer satisfaction.

Did anyone else notice that the Suede chukkas were advertised as having a leather sole on the website? I also seem to remember an original price of $528....

Got mine yesterday - Dianite sole and an original price tag for $395..

Am I mistaken or was this a bait and switch?

Hm, I don't recall whether it said leather soles or not - but the suede chukkas I have on right now definitely have a Dainite sole. I don't see an original price tag on my box, but I also believe I remember a higher starting price.

I do know that the website occasionally has inaccuracies - there was some question a while back about a blucher that was listed as a balmoral (or vice-versa, I can't recall exactly) and nobody was sure if they were getting what was pictured or what was described.

Still, if the sole is a deal-breaker for you, I'm sure BB will take care of you. Their customer service, as I and others can attest, is fantastic.

Yes, I definitely remembers the suede chukka boots in question being listed as having leather sole and with a $500ish price.

I saw these in a BB earlier this week, marked at $528, at least for the leather models.

Did you buy them for the price paid or the $$$ off?
