Don't think there's a thread on this ... those of you who play it safe with your style, do you have anything that you've consciously bought, even though you didn't really like it, but knew it would get you attention?

2, 3 years ago when I first starting paying attention to clothing, for a few months i really went overboard, pastel colors, amjack/ eurotrashy fits, shiny square toed shoes...you get the idea. Nevertheless, I think i received more compliments in that short period then I have since, and after reading The Game, it makes sense. I think I might pull the trigger on some peacock pieces just for fun...

Consider wrapping a scarf very, very tightly around your neck.

Or perhaps don a codpiece, like how Henry VIII rocked his.

You can get extra attention if it is in the shape of a happy face.

Did anyone else kind of see "cock piercings" in the thread title at first glance?

No?

I'm not gay, I swear.

I've set two traps and have four backups of various types waiting to be used in case of further infiltration. At least I'm not going the screaming banshee mouse route. My savagery is thusly tempered.

Just for fun, here are some of my really atrocious attention-whoring shirts. The photos are crappy, but it's not like they "deserve" better. Some of them might be acceptable in a dance hall in a small Texas town five years ago, but I regularly wear them in a European city, including to work.

On the other hand, you look like you would kill a man for looking at you funny, so I wouldn't say anything about your shirts.

i feel like everything on sufu is a "peacock piece", esp supertight jeans on guys

as for me, i bought that 11 dollar opening ceremony hoody that whoever was selling on B&S, and it has certainly gotten me a lot of attention (its like highlighter green and bright blue), but i bought it for the cheapness and it keeps me warm

I have a few though I got them because I actually like them,

-chunky shawl robe/cardigan with knitted design
-glitter socks
-off white floral wrinkled blazer
-red desert boots
-metallic looking scarf

to name a few...

Oh screw you Will, I was going to write something about Raf Simons as well. Way to steal my snark.
