Pea Coat: Charcoal or Black

So, I'm looking to buy my first ever pea coat and I was wondering if I could get your guys' opinion on whether I should go with charcoal or black. Thanks in advance for your input.

I dislike both of those, but go with charcoal in general. It'll give you more options when wearing browns.

Charcoal would be more suitable for jeans as well.

Yes, navy. Mine is very dark and in the right light almost looks black. If you can, get a vintagy us navy peacoat. The best are usually from the 60s - Great texture, very very heavy. Normally can be had for less that $125.

Size down one if you want a slimmer cut and don't plan to wear a jacket under it.
