I like a lot from both; Samuelsohn is doing very nice work for both of them. I saw a couple of those PS cloths last week at the tailor.

Though I could never wear it, that Cole military jacket is nice.

Picked up three of the shetland sweaters yesterday (and some other fall goodies), they are killer and a good deal @ $128.50/per. They also had 100% linen Inis Meain cadrigans in the back on sale for 1/2 price so I snagged one in navy and one in olive.

The Phineas stuff is reaching costume level proporations and I couldn't find much of anything that I wanted.

A- what else, if anything, did they have on sale?

I love the Paul Stuart collection. The Phineas Cole stuff is nice too but is just not practical for me.

As an aside, anybody know what type of software those catalogs are created with?

They had a pretty wide asortment of things in the abck room. Everything from outerwear, including leather and shearling, to bathing suits. There are some nice items to had, for sure.

At least in the "Adult Clothing" catalogue, as opposed to Phineas Cole,
it seems that everything shown has the shorter jacket with relatively
strong "shoulder expression". Two years ago when in NYC I tried on a suit
at PS with true natural shoulders and some drape. It was from Isaia at and
was priced at the Kiton level. Too high for me. Beautiful suit.
I wonder if they still have that cut?

Are these an example of the Edwardian Gay look?

That DB looks ridiculous! PC looks too affectatious.

The only other suit I own (and am keeping) is a flannel Sammy for PS. Awesome (Charles cut) and I'm glad they didn't do the Soiffer Haskin thing this year.
