Paul Smith suit on Ebay - Real or Fake?

I found this Paul Smith suit on eBay. I've never owned one before, so I'm not sure how exactly to tell if it's a fake or not, but I'm skeptical since this guy has several other auctions for Paul Smith suits and is located in China.

If it is a fake, it looks like a pretty good one (the PS on the buttons and everything).

Anyone have any opinions/insight?

Don't get that. I just can't imagine that there are that many real Paul Smith suits sitting in Tianjin. Take a look at this post of mine.

China is filled with fakes and overproduction of Paul Smith. I think that suit is part of the former category - though I certainly can't guarantee it. Given the quality level of all but the top Paul Smith Mainline suits, I suspect most of the assembly occurs here, even if it says "made in Italy". Still, even if it is overproduction from the factory that actually makes Paul Smith the quality will be compromised in order to minimize costs. The quality is likely to be sub H&M, though there are exceptions. Given the large number of items he is offering, I don't think this is one of those exceptions. It is probably either a conventional, Grade B, fake or shoddy overproduction. You would be better off just going with H&M if you want a suit at that price - and you wouldn't be supporting counterfeiters (just poor labor conditions).

Also, the real Paul Smith suits don't quite have the more Dior Homme type of cut that the seller seems to be hinting at.
