How does 724 compare to 87 if you have any experience?

Same length, narrower heel and toe. I can't compare the instep as I only have boots on 87.

The weather has turned. So I went with flannel and pinner suede Charlton AS from AFPOS. These have held up really well over the years. I think I've only used suede shampoo once and I have sprayed them every other fall. Generally, just a brush down with a suede brush after each wear.

Personally I wear both these and Moore in the same size.
This pair is 5 years old. I'm very happy about them.

I emailed afpos about sizing for 724 vs 87 last and they said that I should half size up for the 724 Moores as the 724 is more narrow.

That's my experience as well. Shoes on both lasts have been bought from AFPOS based on their advice and fit well.

A long time ago, some of us did a group MTO from AFPOS. This model was an AS handgrade model, but we did it to exclusive specs on a HG last. They are still my favorite dress shoes.

I need to do some polishing of my toe caps soon.

It is mahogany calf indeed. I think the lovely guys at PSS will be able to assist you in the perfect way. My experience with them has been nothing short of excellent.

My latest addition to my PSS collection, Kelso on steroids.

In short:
-- the Kelso veldtschoen on 87 last in Horween (!) Zug leather,
-- shearling-lined all throughout,
-- double speed hooks, AND
-- the buckled top, AND
-- removable shearling sock.

The leather is super soft, the sole is perfect for wintertime, and they are wonderfully warm. I couldn't be happier with the design.

The guys at PSS were super receptive to my ideas here and executed them exactly as I wished with some improvements that I hadn't even thought of. Excellent service.

Hello! Does anyone here have experience with the 724 E width? I'm dying for a pair of Cherry Moores, but I can find very little info on the fit on the E. I'm a US 10C, and I wear, for example 9E (narrow) in TLB Mallorca lasts. My main issue is that my heels are quite narrow, more like a B width.

Greatly appreciate any insight!
